For families
Your parents live alone, and you still know how today went
One large screen in the home. Say “Hey Joe” and the assistant answers in the language your parents chose. A ring, a watch, and a blood pressure monitor report on their own — past a threshold, or on SOS, you get an alert and a call.
AdCare is not a medical device and does not replace a doctor. We track, alert, and tell the family.
WHAT YOU’RE ASKING
The four questions everyone asks first
Does it film inside the house?
No. The AdCare screen does not film and does not record ambient audio. Its camera turns on only when your parents choose: photographing a prescription so the screen can read it back, or a video call with you. Otherwise it stays off.
My parents don’t use a smartphone. Does this still work?
They never touch it. The sensors run in the background and your parents go about their day. The house also gets one large screen with big text and big buttons that speaks and listens in their own language — they can use it to call you, hear medication reminders, and look at photos, or ignore it entirely. The phone app is yours, not theirs.
How long does setup take? Any drilling?
No drilling and no wiring. The screen plugs into an outlet, and the ring and the monitor pair once — after that they report on their own. It goes up in one visit and nothing in the house has to move.
How do I find out when something happens?
Your phone gets a message with context — "Mom hasn’t left her room this morning, 7:40" — not a number with no meaning. If you want a person, call the line; a real person answers, in your language.
SET UP ONCE
Three steps, then it’s done
-
STEP 01
Plug it in and it runs
The screen arrives configured for your household. Plug it in, join wifi, pick the language your parents speak, add the family’s numbers. No drilling, no wiring.
-
STEP 02
AdCare learns the routine
When they get up, when they eat, whether they are out of bed at night. The pattern is built from readings the devices already send, on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure — not from a camera and not from a microphone left listening.
-
STEP 03
Off-routine, you hear about it
An ordinary day stays quiet. You only get a message when the day breaks from the pattern — which is why the messages you do get are worth reading.
THE FAMILY PACKAGE
What arrives at the house
-
Smart ring
Heart rate, SpO₂, activity. Worn, not operated — readings arrive on their own.
-
Blood pressure monitor
Paired once. After that a reading goes to the screen and to your phone by itself.
-
A large in-home screen
Big text, big buttons, and Joe speaking their language. Call the family, hear medication reminders, look at photos — optional, not required.
-
The app for you
How your parents’ day is going, alerts, and a way to call home — in your language, which does not have to be theirs.
-
A person on the phone
A real person picks up — not a phone tree and not a callback queue.
-
Activity watch
Steps and sleep, worn day and night. Charged once a week, nothing else to do with it.
WHO SEES WHAT
Privacy isn’t a promise, it’s who can see what
Your family decides who is in the household. Nobody outside it sees anything.
Your parents see
- The in-home screen: the day, medication reminders, family photos
- A button to call the family
- No dashboard pointed at them
You see
- How the day went
- An alert when something is off
- No video and no audio, because none is captured
AdCare sees
- Readings stored on AdCare’s multi-region cloud infrastructure in the United States — never sold, never used for advertising
- The on-duty staff see only what your family shares during a call
- HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest
Anything else
Does it keep working when the internet goes down?
Partly, and the limit is worth knowing. Medication reminders, first-aid steps, and reassurance are recorded on the device, so the screen keeps speaking and reminding on time. What needs the connection: asking Joe a new question, the alert to your phone, and calls. Anything waiting goes out the moment the line is back.
My parents are in Vietnam and I’m in the US. Does that work?
The setup does not change: the equipment goes in their home, and you get alerts on your phone wherever you are, each of you reading it in your own language. Whether we install and support where your parents actually live is one phone call to find out — ask before you buy, not after.
My parents don’t want to be monitored.
Telling them the truth is the best approach, and AdCare is built so that conversation is easy to have: no filming, no ambient recording, nobody watching a screen. Most of the time the device is simply how they call you, hear music, and look at photos — monitoring is one part of it. Many parents agree because it genuinely is "so the kids stop worrying" rather than "so the kids can check up on me".
What does it cost?
It depends on the plan and which measurement devices come with it. Call the line and we quote it on the spot — no form, and no waiting for someone to call you back.
Call us — a person picks up
Ask anything, including "would this even fit my parents’ place". No account, no form.
